Kaspersky Lab Products Achieve Outstanding Results in Independent Tests throughout 2014

Kaspersky Lab has once again led the way in the Top-3 Protection rating for 2014, reflecting the enduring superiority of its products. The rating is based on the results of a series of independent evaluations of security solutions carried out throughout the past year. According to this rating, Kaspersky Lab products ranked higher in more professional tests than any other vendor’s products.

The annual Top 3 Protection rating for Kaspersky Lab follows public assessments performed by the world’s leading test labs such as AV-Test, AV-Comparatives, MRG Effitas, Dennis Technology Labs, etc. The rating is based on the number of top three places achieved by the products and the number of awards received, relative to the number of tests in which they participated.

In 2014, the testers assessed security solutions for home and corporate users against parameters such as the quality of malware detection on different platforms (including mobile), the reliability of protection against financial threats, the impact on the device’s performance, the repair of infected systems, and many others.

Of all the vendors taking part in these tests, Kaspersky Lab achieved the best results: the company’s solutions were awarded a top three finish in 71% of tests. The company also outperformed its rivals in terms of ‘gold medals’, taking first place in 55% of the tests it entered.
